An Exciting New Addition to The American Dream!

An exciting new addition is open for fun seekers at American Dream \u2014 The Escape Game New Jersey. With seven one-of-a-kind adventures to choose from, guests will find plenty of escape room entertainment here.<\/p>\n

The Escape Game New Jersey is located on the 3rd floor of Parks Court. Nearby restaurants include Yard House and 1st RND and they are directly in front of Angry Birds Mini Golf.<\/p>\n

What is The Escape Game?

<\/h2>\n

The Escape Game is the premier provider of escape rooms nationwide. Their adventures bring epic stories to life in unique, tactile experiences. Guests enter immersive worlds and get to become the main character of an adventure. Depending on their chosen theme, players are challenged to recover priceless artwork, find lost gold, or break out of prison, among other missions!<\/p>\n

The Escape Game started in 2015 with a mission to create high-quality, immersive, and unforgettable experiences. Just a few short years later, they\u2019ve now grown into a company with 12 different escape room games and 24 locations nationwide \u2014 with more game themes and cities coming soon! Their spot at American Dream is their 24th storefront location. The Escape Game also offers virtual versions of their escape rooms, an online escape game-type experience called Unlocked, and even a virtual game show!<\/p>\n

What is an Escape Room

<\/h2>\n

An escape room is a live 60-minute game. Groups choose an immersive theme with a unique mission where they uncover clues and overcome challenges together to escape in under 60 minutes. Utilizing a blend of tactile and digital locks and puzzles, each game makes players feel like they\u2019re on the set of a Hollywood blockbuster. All of the rooms also have numerous puzzles to solve at a time so every person in a group has the chance to be a part of the experience.<\/p>\n

Escape Rooms at American Dream

Gold Rush<\/strong> – It\u2019s 1800s California and you\u2019re on the hunt for gold! Eccentric prospector Clyde Hamilton has recently bitten the dust and left the heir to his immense golden fortune a mystery. As a distant relative, you\u2019ve been gathered to hear his final will and testament. Turns out the fortune is up for grabs! Clyde has proposed a final game from beyond the grave \u2013 find the gold first and you can claim it as yours! But you haven\u2019t got much time before news reaches town that there\u2019s a fortune to be found. Hurry and get the gold before someone else finds it first!<\/p>\n

Prison Break<\/strong> – There are a million ways into Iron Gate Prison but only one way out. You\u2019ve been wrongfully accused of a crime, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Your new \u201chome\u201d is a cell that once belonged to an inmate who disappeared without a trace\u2026or did he? Some claim he escaped. Others swear he was murdered by the infamously cruel warden. But no one actually knows\u2026can you escape before you suffer the same fate?<\/p>\n

The Heist<\/strong> – Your world-class espionage agency has assigned you a mission inside a prestigious art museum. A recently stolen masterpiece is presumed hidden within the office of the museum\u2019s egotistical curator, Vincent Hahn. With the help of your intelligence agent on the outside, you have one hour to snoop through the museum gallery, find your way into Hahn\u2019s office, recover the painting, and slip away before Hahn returns.<\/p>\n

The Depths<\/strong> – It\u2019s going down in this escape room\u2026literally! Mysterious videos from a rumored undersea laboratory have recently surfaced, detailing strange and troubling experiments. Commissioned by the excitable Dr. Leah, you must embark into the depths of the ocean to uncover what\u2019s really happening down there. But be warned, dark turns await! You\u2019re not alone in these waters\u2026<\/p>\n

Special Ops:<\/strong> Mysterious Market – If you\u2019ve ever wanted to become a secret agent, this is your moment! You and your fellow field agents were sent to investigate a potential threat at the Ansar market. It\u2019s late, it\u2019s quiet\u2026 but something\u2019s not quite right. You\u2019ll have to keep your wits about you and use all of your tactical training to keep up with all the twists and turns in this escape room. The fate of the world is in your hands\u2026can you complete the mission in time?<\/p>\n

Playground<\/strong> – Summer is here! Well, almost\u2026If you\u2019re ever going to leave for summer vacation, you\u2019ll need your final report card. Here\u2019s the problem, you haven\u2019t finished your work and these assignments are unlike anything you\u2019ve encountered in a classroom before. You and your group will need to band together to ace the ultimate group project. Pass or fail, you\u2019re in this together!<\/p>\n

Who can play an escape room?

<\/h2>\n

Everyone! It\u2019s the perfect activity for spending time with the family, hanging out with friends, or doing some team building with coworkers. Each game is recommended for ages 13 and up. Families can bring younger players, but some of the game content may be too difficult for them. However, there are still opportunities for everyone to participate and help the team! Each room at The Escape Game New Jersey is also family-friendly. They\u2019re designed to be exciting and full of thrills, but nothing is scary or horror-themed.<\/p>\n

Other Important Things to Know

<\/h2>\n

The Escape Game New Jersey asks that players arrive 15 minutes before their game time and sign waivers digitally prior to their arrival. You can also plan to spend 15 minutes after each game to debrief and take fun photos. There isn\u2019t a dress code, but you should wear clothes that you can move around comfortably.<\/p>\n
