High Point Cross Country Ski Center opens seasonally from December through March and is open to the public for skiing and snowshoeing. Group ski lessons are also offered on weekends and holidays, ask about private lessons. Ski students will learn basic through advanced techniques needed for flat terrain, up and down hill. You will also become familiar with waxing and maintaining your equipment. Instructors can teach beginners with no experience, as well as improve the techniques of more advanced skiers. Be sure to check their website regularly to ensure they are open.
