Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is a 171-acre wildlife refuge, wildlife rehabilitation hospital and nature center dedicated to the preservation of New Jersey's wildlife and habitats through education, conservation and rehabilitation. More than 19,000 students participate annually in the refuge's school and scout programs and hundreds more come down for naturalist hikes, night hikes and birthday parties. Programs include on-site field trips and tours, Refuge on Wheels, Summer Camps, Homeschool groups and scout badges. You can walk the trails to discover the uplands and wetlands surrounding Cedar Run Lake, enjoy a picnic lunch in the covered pavilion, or younger visitors can climb on and explore their natural playscape area. Be sure to visit their wildlife up-close in the outdoor housing area with over 60 residents including eagles, hawks, owls, foxes and more! Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is open Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm and Sat-Sun 10:00am-4:00pm. Admission is $7 for adults 13 and over, $5 for children 4-12, children 3 & under and members are free.
