Mitch has been teaching drums and percussion in the area for over 20 years. His patience and ability to make learning fun are just a couple of his special qualities. He teaches many styles of music and makes reading music fun. You will learn the basics to get started and soon be playing along to your favorite music.
Mitch began playing drums at the age of 11 and studied with the renowned Elden “Buster” Bailey who was the percussionist for the New York Philharmonic. Throughout high school, Mitch played in the school band, All-State Band, Bergen Youth Orchestra and various rock and jazz bands. Mitch teaches drum lessons in your home which is an added convenience.
