Visit the state's most Awarded and Sustainable Brewery! Founded in 1996, Flying Fish is the largest of the almost 70 craft breweries in the state, even though they only distribute within 100 miles of the brewery (New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Washington, DC). They currently brew six year round beers and a wide range of seasonals. Flying Fish beers have garnered 10 medals at the Great American Beer Festival, the world's largest beer competition.
Situated in Somerdale, NJ, conveniently located off I-295, the brewery boasts many sustainability features to brew beer in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Wednesday through Sunday, consumers are welcome to come to the brewery and take a tour as well as sample products on site. Flying Fish always has at least 12 different beers on tap. During nicer weather an outdoor beer garden makes for an enjoyable sampling experience. The tasting room also features limited edition beers that are not available anywhere else. Flying Fish also sells growlers, bottles and kegs to go.
