Seaton Hackney Stables is located in the scenic flatlands of Morristown, NJ. The stable's instructors offer magnificent horseback trail rides through Loantaka Park and various other Morris County, NJ parks surrounding the stable. Atop a beautiful horse, explore miles of paths in Loantaka Park just a few minutes from the stable. One hour, one and a half hour or even two hour guided trail rides are offered weekdays and weekends. Trail rides must be booked in advance. Experienced horseback riders are welcome to roam off the traditional trails for an off-site trail riding adventure in Morris County NJ. Off-site horseback rides are offered in Harding Township and several Morris County Parks including Jockey Hollow, Lewis Morris Park and other horse friendly areas. Off-site rides are not offered daily, call the office for upcoming dates and locations.
The rusty riders program is geared towards experienced riders that have not rode for quite some time. Riders arrive early to groom, pamper and tack-up their horse to gear them up for an afternoon of riding the scenic trails of Morris County, NJ. The Rusty Riders program begins with a mini lesson/refresher course, followed by one hour of trail riding.
