Take a trip into outer space in this state-of-the-art, digital Planetarium at the Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, NJ. Using their SkySkan DigitalSky system, they can recreate the day and night skies from any planet! They show you all the stars and planets that are visible in the night’s sky. You will be immersed in an all-dome experience to discover the mysteries of our solar system, the galaxy, and deep space. Their 100-seat Planetarium provides a unique experience for you and your special date!
RVCC’s Observatory consists of a domed observatory and a roll-off-roof observatory. The domed observatory houses a 16” Meade telescope and sits on top of a pier whose foundation extends two dozen feet into the ground. The roll-off-roof observatory has a 14” Celestron telescope so you can snuggle and gaze at the skies at this perfect date location in NJ!
