A Milkhouse Party has a very storied history. This 93-acre farm and dairy parlor was owned and operated by the Tice Family throughout the 20th century.
When patriarch Leon M. Tice passed away in 2010, granddaughters Mary and Dawn lovingly restored the abandoned dairy parlor into an event space and venue. Today, it is known as a wonderful place to take classes, host a birthday party or stop by and visit. It is even a popular venue for rustic, country weddings. One of their most popular workshops is their soap making classes. Melanie is a gifted and talented instructor who will teach you the ins and outs of crafting artisanal soaps, lip balms and lotions. Participants get to choose their own shapes, colors and scents. Best of all, everyone leaves the class with a gift box of their own creations. Give it to a loved one or keep them for yourself!
