Information about Fall Events at Insectropolis Halloween Attractions in NJ

Insectropolis will host a variety of events this Fall season throughout September and October. The Fall Event Series kicks off with Endangered Wings: Monarch Migration. Children and families will learn the importance of tagging and releasing adult Monarch Butterflies. This event takes place Saturday, September 23 from 9:30 - 10:30am. Registration required by calling 732-349-7090.

You will not want to miss the BUGS Art Show’s Closing Exhibit Date on September 23 from 6 – 9pm. This is your last chance to see the current exhibition of art inspired by ARThropods. Meet the artists, buy one-of-a-kind art, enjoy light snacks and music. Ages 18 and older only.

Insectropolis will host weekly Happy Mantis Yoga Sessions from September 16 through October 21. The 6-week yoga session is for children ages 8 - 14 years old and takes place from 9:15 - 10am. Sign up for all 6 weeks, or drop ins available.

The Fall Event Series at Insectropolis concludes with Spider Tie-Dye Workshops. Children 12 and older will make their own hand-dyed wearable art with a spider-inspired design. This workshop is a great opportunity to get into the Halloween spirit and learn one method of tie-dying. Dyes, tools and t-shirt provided; bring a smock or wear old clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Workshops take place October 13 from 6:30 – 8pm or October 14 from 9:30 – 11am.
