As a means of encouraging their students, Glass Roots employs the fun curriculum-based disciplines of STEAM (Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Math), to provide students with hands-on learning that allows them to express themselves in a structured, yet fun and relaxed, environment.
Classes students can choose from include traditional glass making, flat glass, glassblowing and even flame working. Flame working is a bead making technique that allows students to make their own necklace or bracelet.
