The Children's Director/Founder of The Language Workshop for Children, Francois Thibaut, created an enriched play method to teaching French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and English to preschool-aged children. At a young age children learn new languages incredibly fast when the correct methods have been put into place. The teachers at The Language Workshop for Children use tested methods to make learning a new language through play easy and fun.
The school offers half-day preschool programs with individualized attention; one staff member to every six children. The curriculum is tailored to meet the age group's intellectual development and provides a balance of structure and free time so no child feels overwhelmed. Daily language-based activities include storytelling, singing the LWFC's vocabulary-building songs, drawing, arts and craft, organized play, dancing and more. The Thibaut Technique is a whole language approach which employs both sides of the brain and allows children to easily absorb the language and remember what they've learned for life! The Language Workshop for Children has become the pioneering specialists in teaching languages to children.
