Team Makers is offering online interactive summer camps via Zoom and our trained facilitators. We have 3 different camps at 2 different times over 3 weeks in July as follows below. The fun, interactive activities will be for 1 hour at a time and are offered for 5 days. Children must sign up for the week. Each day and week will be new and different activities. Children can join either age range no matter their age, but the activities will be adjusted for that age range. The cost is a very reasonable $50 for the week ($10 per hour). Sign up at each camp using the link attached.
July 6-10
9 am to 10 am Fun with Math and Science Experiments for Grades K-3
Children will do fun experiments and games at home using materials we tell you ahead of time to collect for each day. Things they may make are Lava Lamps, shooting rockets, silly putty among others. Different projects every day.
10:30 am to 11:30 am Engineering Discovery for Grades K-3.
During the Discovery class students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, race, and refine a variety of things they can make roll. They may also build their own electro-magnets and explore and refine a variety of machines and mechanical systems. Students will learn the basics of structural mechanics, simple machines, and other design and engineering concepts while possibly constructing giant labyrinths, simple rockets, roller coasters, and other fun creations.
10:30 am to 11:30 am Having Fun with Pokemon Go Activities for Grades K-3.
the children play a series of team work challenges that, upon completion, allow them to collect pokemon figurines. Each game requires the children to work together (like in a Pokemon gym) to win the activity first and collect different colored and different designed pokemon characters that give the team extra “powers” to succeed in the next challenge. At the end, they may even have a "Pokewar" with their characters.
1:30 to 2:30 pm Engineering Discovery for Grades 3-8.

July 20-24
9 am to 10 am Fun with Math and Science Experiments for Grades K-3
Children will do fun experiments and games at home using materials we tell you ahead of time to collect for each day. Things they may learn about are weather and how it affects the earth, balance, counting, number games among others. Different projects every day.
10:30 am to 11:30 am Engineering Designers for Grades K-3.
During the Designers class students use the Engineering Design Process to identify an opportunity, conceptualize a solution, then design, create, test, and refine a variety of projects. They may build parachutes, complex bridges and towers and explore and refine a variety of machines and mechanical systems. Students will learn the basics of electricity while possibly constructing pipeline races, intricate mazes, 3-D structures, among other challenging activities.
