Information about A Day on the Bay Day Trips in NJ

A Day On The Bay is located on the Forked River in Ocean County, New Jersey. Their sailing vessel "Steph-Er-Laur" is a Beneteau 32' sloop with lots of space and foredeck for kicking back while you take in the sights and beauty the the Barnegat Bay has to offer, including the Barnegat Lighthouse. The vessel is US Coast Guard inspected and certified for safety, and is perfect to experience a 2-1/2 to 3 hour morning, afternoon or sunset sailing cruise.

The captain, Captain Warren, is United States Coast Guard Licensed with over 25 years experience sailing the Barnegat and is CPR and First Aid certified. Captain Warren and his First Mate Andi will make your time aboard as safe and enjoyable as possible.

You can sit back and enjoy the breeze or help out crew if you desire, learn the ropes and have the opportunity to take the wheel!

Light refreshments and snacks will be served on board, but make sure to leave room for the great food at The Captain's Inn Outdoor Tiki Bar or Latitudes Outdoor Dining, conveniently located next door. A Day on the Bay highly recommends extending your day by visiting or booking a room at the Marina's beautiful bed and breakfast, The Inn at River's Edge.
