Founded in 1980 by Sensei Ben Lapinski, Isshinryu Karate Academy offers high quality karate instruction to people ages 5 years old and up. These NJ karate classes are taught by experienced black belts in a friendly but disciplined environment. A strong emphasis on traditional Japanese karate customs pervades this martial arts style.
Students who wish to learn karate in NJ at this dojo will learn basic punching and kicking techniques, throwing, sparring, kata and much more. Classes for juniors and seniors are offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
