Montclair State University Ice Arena opened in March of 1998 with one goal in mind, to create a wholesome activity for children and their families. The arena's founder was dedicated to providing low-cost, family-oriented entertainment for Little Falls NJ and the surrounding communities. To this day Montclair State University Ice Arena attracts over 500,000 visitors per year.
The NHL-size ice skating rinks are open year-round, seven days a week for public open skate sessions, figure skating, and ice hockey leagues for kids and adults. For maximum safety, Montclair State University Ice Arena offers separate open skate sessions for kids and adults. Floyd Hall Arena also offers open hockey sessions for youth and adults. Montclair State University Ice Arena also offers various learn to skate programs for children as young as 3. Professionals teach a variety of courses ranging from My Tot & Me to Ice Dancing and Synchronized Skating for competitions. Hockey camps, clinics and classes are taught by professionals for both youth and adults. Once you've become a seasoned hockey player, join a youth or adult league.
They have a women's hockey team too!
