Voorhees Theatre Company is one of Southern NJ’s best community theatres. VTC was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2002. Its mission is to offer performance and educational opportunities to artists on stage and behind the scenes and to bring audiences professional-caliber performances within and beyond the walls of the theatre. Our organization is well known for educating and nurturing young performers and for offering performance and theatre opportunities to local artists of all ages. VTC offers a safe harbor to all participants who want to explore the arts. Past performers have gone on to perform on Broadway stages and touring companies, Disney World, become teachers in music and theatre education or have taken the confidence they gained from the program to become better public speakers or participants in group settings.

VTC produces the following programs each year; a six-week summer camp with theatre education, which culminates in a musical production at the end of the summer, a young adult musical, an all-age fall musical production, a student directed murder mystery, continuing theatre education and master classes with theatre professionals. The mainstage shows are performed in a proscenium theatre with close to 1000 seats.
