If you are taking a trip to the Southern shore, stop by the Heritage Glass Museum in Glassboro, NJ. Experience over 200 years of glass all native to New Jersey. From the rarest types of glass to the coolest glass you have ever seen, this museum has it all. The staff will teach you about the history of the material and how some glasses are native to the state while others are not. In addition, they will demonstrate how, when certain glass is exposed to light, it can create beautiful colors.
They have a little bit of everything for New Jersey art and glass lovers and with samples of Whitney Glass, Heston Bottles, paperweights, fruit jars, flasks, mercury glass, hand-blown glass and so much more, you will certainly leave this free attraction with more knowledge about glass.
