If you and your significant other are dedicated to helping worthy causes, consider taking part in the Valentine Plunge this year. Taking place on February 14th, this NJ fundraiser will be raising money for the Joan Dancy and PALS (People with ALS) Foundation. 2016 marks the 10th year that this event will take place and everyone is encouraged to take part. Although plunging into the freezing Atlantic Ocean may not seem like the typical romantic activity you and your partner could do on such a special day, it could definitely bring the two of you closer together. Because the two of you will be plunging into ice cold water, essentially taking part in the biggest ice bucket challenge ever, you guys can spend the rest of the day cozying up to each other on the couch and recovering from the event. There will also be post-plunge drink specials and a buffet lunch at Leggett's Sand Bar & Restaurant. Other plunge parties will be happening at Manasquan Beach House and Reef & Barrel.
