The Friends of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum was founded in 1972. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and promote the development of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum and other horticultural facilities of the Morris County Park Commission. Through our continuing commitment and volunteer efforts, we foster and develop public awareness, knowledge and enjoyment of horticulture and the natural world.
The Friends also support the Frelinghuysen's horticultural library, staffing for a year round horticultural program and "Branching Out," a children's gardening program.
