The Jenkinson's Aquarium is the best place to go on the Point Pleasant Boardwalk if you want to see a variety of animals.
The idea of an aquarium may offer just sea creatures; however, Jenkinson’s Aquarium is considered a zoo! They’ve got birds, monkeys, alligators, and their newest mammalian addition is a sloth. Combine it with their large African penguin exhibit, awesome shark tank, cool turtles and fish, and a touch tank, and you have an awesome experience that you can spend all day in.
Children will love the feeding times for the penguins, seals, and sharks. Parents will love that this entire experience is educational – each exhibit has facts about the animals and feeding times will also provide kids with little-known facts about their favorites.
