New Jersey Sailing School & Charter has been teaching the art of sailing since 1978 and has been awarded many times on their sailing and boating instruction. They since developed a Junior Sailing Program to introduce young ones to the life-long learning experiences associated with the love for sailing.
NJSS&C offers weekly sessions that run from 9: am to 3:30 Monday through Friday. They will provide their own Optimist dinghies, so no boat purchase or rental is required. Just make sure to bring a bathing suit, an approved life-vest, approved shoes, water bottles, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a towel!
Their program is designed to teach the FUN”damentals of water safety, basic boat handling, basic seamanship, wind direction, sail trip and basic racing. Their students will learn through classroom and on-water activities. The Program is run on a weekly basis and starts on Monday, June 25 for eight independent weeks. Sign up for one or more weeks.
They Also Offer Private Lessons on the Opti Boats for Juniors.
