Founded in 1936, the Lake Island Rifle and Pistol Club have been teaching residents of the community the simple art of safe handling and proper care of firearms. Lake Island Rifle and Pistol Club were originally established to encourage organized rifle and pistol competition as well. Teaching courses in rifle and sidearm training, their courses open for members are perfect for the advanced shooter or the green behind the ears beginner.
Lake Island Rifle and Pistol Club also offer classes for junior shooters. Teaching kids how to safely handle firearms as well as proper form and techniques to hone their skills on the range.
