Dedicated to the preservation of New Jersey maritime history this is one of the most unique museums you are going to find on the Jersey Shore.
A collection of rare documents, over ten thousand rare and historic photographs, and antique navigational equipment are just a few things you can expect to find here. They also have historic photographs, logs, videos, and artifacts that span over a hundred years of New Jerseys Maritime history.
Opened on July 3rd, 2007 by Deb Whitcraft, she has built a truly impressive of shipwreck files and artifacts. Since then it has grown at an impressive rate due to loans and doners from the public and diving enthusiasts.
The museum is open all year long Friday through Sunday in the offseason and all week during the summer months.
