Rancocas Nature Center is a non-profit organization located on two hundred and ten acres of the Rancocas State Park. With 3 miles of hiking trails through forests, meadows, and wetlands this is the perfect place for a leisurely stroll or a day full of hiking and exploration.
Established in 1977, Rancocas Nature Center has conserved the area through a number of environmental education programs for all ages as well as schools, libraries, senior citizens and the general public.
After a day on the unique hiking trails, you can visit the nature centers museum where you can see live reptiles, frogs before visiting the gift shop/bookstore where you can learn about all the different volunteer opportunities they have to offer so you can help do your part to preserve this beautiful and special area.
Rancocas Nature center also holds events throughout the year so you are liable to find something going on any time you visit, and this is the perfect place to book your next field trip or scout meeting.
