Spanning three historic buildings and now coming directly to you at home, The Museum of Cape May County focuses on county life all the way from Native American times all through the 21st century.
Bringing the history of Cape May to all future generations this museum was founded in 1927 and has something for just about everyone! The three buildings date back all the way to 1704, 1830 when it added its Holmes addition and the historic 1780's barn and carriage house. This virtual tour will bring you to all three locations and have you spellbound as you dive into the past learning about this area's rich history right from the comfort of your home.
Period pieces on display range from the Revolutionary War to the most recent Afgan and Iraq wars, they even have an American flag that survived the battle of Gettysburg, Spotsylvania, and even Bull Run and was even at General Lee's surrender at Appomattox.
