Fun Summer Camps For Kids!

If you like horses and want to learn more about them, then the Spring Valley Horsemanship Camp is for you!

We offer full and half-day sessions throughout the summer. Our highly qualified instructors teach a wide variety of horse care and horsemanship topics. Sessions are small so please register early. ​ For those who choose our full day session, a Student Horse Show will be held on the last day (Friday) of that session week. Parents, friends and relatives are encouraged to attend and watch the skills that the students have mastered.

Various awards are given to the riders acknowledging their progress and participation. Our half-day students end the session with a scenic full hour trail ride.

We Offer Horseback Riding and Lessons too!

Spring Valley Equestrian Center is located in the beautiful scenic Sussex County NJ. Since 1972, we have been creating strong, safe and skilled riders.

We offer horseback riding in both English and Western styles. We are home to over 70 horses on 140 acres of rolling hills and streams. We offer scenic lesson-trail rides on miles of beautiful fields and woods. Riders must be at least 8 years old and accompanied by a parent.

We have three outdoor rings and a jumping course. Riding instruction is taught all year in their spacious indoor arena. We have safe and dependable horses and provide all necessary safety equipment including helmets.

Spring Valley offers group events including Boy and Girl Scout badges, summer camp programs, shows, sales and leases, and horse boarding.
